Data collected through this website

The site itself does not run a contact form, analytics or third-party tracking. The only data stored on your device is a small cookie that remembers your chosen language so the site loads in the right one on your next visit. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

Data collected as a patient

When you reach out by WhatsApp, email or phone, I receive the contact details you choose to share and the information you give me about your condition. During treatment, I keep a clinical record (history, assessments, treatment notes) as required by Spanish healthcare law. This is health data and is treated as a special category under GDPR Art. 9(2)(h) — provision of healthcare.

Why the data is used

To reply to your messages, schedule and deliver your sessions, keep an accurate clinical record, issue invoices when requested and meet legal and professional obligations.

Who has access

Your data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing. It may be disclosed only when strictly required by law (for example to the tax authority for invoices) or when you explicitly ask me to share information with another healthcare professional involved in your care.

How long it is kept

Clinical records are kept for the minimum period required by Spanish healthcare regulations (currently five years from the last entry, longer in specific cases). Invoices and accounting data are kept for the periods required by tax law. Casual contact messages are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask, at any time, to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to withdraw a previously given consent. Write to gironella.f@gmail.com and I will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data, including device encryption, restricted access and secure backups.

Updates

This page may be updated to reflect changes in the practice or in the law. The latest version is always available at this address.
